Joomla Breadcrumb
I was playing around on a client’s site today, trying to figure out how to activate the joomla breadcrumb module. Everything I read said that Joomla 1.5.x has a breadcrumb module already pre-installed, but when I went to the modules administration screen, I couldn’t find anything that said ‘breadcrumb” so where the heck is it?
Turns out, Joomla does have a breadcrumb module, but you have to create it first. Here are the steps:
- Go to Extensions – Module Manager
- Click on the “New” Icon on the Right
- Click on “Breadcrumbs”, click “Next”
- Configure module like normal (title, position, class, etc)
See, I told you it was easy! Still don’t believe me, check out this video tutorial:
